Mining:255m Mine Continuous Vertical Lifing System
Project Challenge
Many deep gold mines struggle with limited shaft space, high power cost and heavy maintenance using conventional hoisting or truck haulage. This underground gold mine needed reliable ore lifting up to 255 m height, with a target capacity of 200 TPH under low temperature and harsh underground conditions. Our team took on the full EPC delivery for this vertical continuous conveying system.

Key Technical Breakthroughs
Our engineering team overcame multiple deep mine operational pain points:
- Custom belt selection and structural design for strict 90 degree vertical lifting
- Mining spec belt with flame retardant, cold resistant and high adhesion properties
- Anti build up structure for clean, high efficiency material discharge
- Stress relief design for high tension bend sections
- On site spillage control and anti misalignment solutions for vertical sections
- Optimised mechanical and belt performance to sustain low temperature operation
- Fast installation concept built for narrow 3 metre mine shaft
- Special protection processes for installing the heavy 70 ton conveyor belt
