Compact build and lightweight design make this vulcanizer easy to transport between different work sites. Powered by a robust three phase motor system, it delivers steady pressure output ranging from 0 to 1.8 MPa. Heating platens maintain even temperature across the whole working surface, so you get consistent heating for every splicing task.
Fitted with a standalone automatic electric control box. Operators can finish parameter setup with simple steps. The whole unit runs stable on site, lowering unexpected downtime during belt repair jobs.
Note: This equipment works only in environments without explosive or corrosive gas. Do NOT deploy it in high risk chemical or gas filled locations.
This vulcanizer serves on site hot splicing for fabric conveyor belts and steel cord conveyor belts. Field crews use it to join broken belts, fix joint separation and restore belt integrity without moving large belts off the installation position. It fits mine sites, port terminals, aggregate plants and other places running heavy duty conveyor systems.
Q1: Can this vulcanizer work for both fabric and steel cord conveyor belts?
A: Yes. It supports hot splicing for fabric layer belts as well as steel cord conveyor belts. Keep actual pressure and temperature matched with your belt manufacturer’s requirement.
Q2: What site conditions do I need before starting vulcanizing work?
A: Keep the working area free of explosive gas, corrosive fumes. Place the machine on flat solid ground. Confirm stable 380V 50Hz power supply before you assemble heating platens.
Q3: Why does platen gap matter under pressure?
A: The 0.5 mm max gap under 0.8 MPa guarantees uniform pressing force over the belt joint. Uneven gap will cause partial poor vulcanization and weak splice points.
Q4: Do I have to run vulcanization exactly at 145°C?
A: 145°C is the standard setting. You can tune temperature within 0 200°C range, always follow your conveyor belt material specs. Keep surface temperature difference within ±3°C for reliable joint quality.
Q5: How long for full heat up?
A: Under normal ambient condition, it takes less than 50 minutes to heat from room temperature to 145°C. Cold surrounding environment may slightly extend warming up time.
