Sealing Conveyor Belt

Our sealing (cover sealing) conveyor belt acts as a flexible protective cover over bulk conveyors against dust, rain, snow, wind and sunlight.
Reinforced by nylon fabric or steel cord, it combines firm transverse rigidity and longitudinal flexibility. Suitable for tripper cars and continuous handling equipment, it is widely used in ports, building material, chemical and grain plants to avoid weather impact and material dust pollution.

Product Overview

Our sealing conveyor belt, also known as cover sealing belt, sits right above bulk material conveyor systems. It works as a flexible protective cover to block dust, rain, snow, wind and strong sunlight during material transportation.

The belt’s inner reinforcement layer is built with nylon fabric or steel cord layers. This build gives it two practical advantages: solid transverse rigidity to hold shape, and good longitudinal flexibility for free bending and movement. It fits well for tripper cars, material recovery units, automatic unloading conveyors and other continuous material handling machinery.

Widely deployed across ports, building material plants, chemical workshops and grain processing facilities, this sealing cover belt shields loose bulk goods from outdoor weather interference. Meanwhile, it stops scattered materials from blowing out and polluting the surrounding site.

Why Choose Our Sealing Conveyor Belt Over Traditional Cover Solutions

Many sites use tarpaulin cloth or fixed metal hoods for conveyor shielding. Each option has obvious pros and cons:

  • Tarpaulin cloth: Low cost, but easy to tear, poor shape holding, cannot stand strong wind; frequent replacement increases total cost.
  • Fixed metal hood: Good weather resistance, but heavy, cannot move. It blocks access when you need to inspect or maintain the lower conveyor.
  • Our movable sealing conveyor belt: Balanced solution. Rigid sideways yet flexible lengthwise. It can move together with tripper unloading equipment. No need to remove whole hood for routine conveyor inspection.

Main Applications

Installed on top of bulk material conveying belts, the sealing cover belt is matched for material unloading conveyors and continuous production equipment.

  • Grain industry: Protect grain stocks from rain, dust and sun exposure during transit
  • Chemical sector: Keep bulk chemical materials free from external contamination
  • Building material field: Cover cement, sand and other bulk building materials
  • Port logistics: Fit for outdoor port unloading and material transfer equipment

Thanks to its reinforced structure, the belt holds shape sideways while staying soft lengthwise. Operators can shift or reposition the cover belt according to actual working requirements.

Key Features

  • Reliable weather protection: Shields transported materials against dust, wind, rain and direct sunlight to preserve material quality.
  • Even embedded transverse reinforcement: Reinforcement layers sit evenly embedded inside the belt. This stops early on excessive wear that could expose the inner layers.
  • Flexible running performance: The belt body bends smoothly, compatible with smaller size drive rollers. No need to install extra large roller sets for operation.
  • Dual sided benefit: Stabilizes material quality by isolating harsh outdoor conditions; cuts material loss and reduces site dust pollution.
  • Easy on site adaption: Transverse rigidity maintains covering shape; longitudinal softness supports movable installation for different working cycles.

Material Options

We supply two main reinforcement constructions for sealing conveyor belts to match different site demands.

  • Nylon fabric reinforcement: Light weight, good flex resistance. Perfect for general duty applications such as grain, regular building material and light load port conveying. Lower overall cost for long run projects.
  • Steel cord layer reinforcement: Delivers higher transverse stiffness. Choose this option if your cover belt faces frequent large range movement, heavy wind load or tough outdoor working sites. Suitable for heavy duty tripper car and large unloading machinery.

The outer rubber cover compound can be adjusted upon request. We offer standard weather resistant grade for most outdoor environments. Special anti aging formula is available for sites under long term strong sunlight exposure.

FAQ

Q1: What is the difference between sealing conveyor cover belt and regular conveyor belt?

A: Ordinary conveyor belts carry materials from below. Our sealing cover belt acts as a top cover above the main conveyor. It does not bear material weight; its core job is weather and contamination shielding.

Q2: Can this sealing belt work with small drive rollers?

A: Yes. Long direction softness allows operation with relatively small drive rollers. It helps you avoid modifying your existing roller setup in most cases.

Q3: Will the inner reinforcement layer wear through quickly?

A: Transverse reinforcing layers are fully and evenly buried inside belt structure, not close to the surface. Under normal working conditions, over wear and early exposure rarely happen.

Q4: Which working scenarios are not suitable for this sealing belt?

A: It fits for general outdoor bulk material conveying. It is NOT recommended for scenarios with sharp high temperature chunks or strong corrosive liquid splashing directly onto the belt surface.

Q5: Is the sealing cover belt movable?

A: Sure. With soft longitudinal performance, the belt can be moved as needed. It is commonly used for tripper car and automatic unloading equipment that requires adjustable coverage.

QBF rubber&MONSHTECH at China-ASEAN Mining Forum 2026 | Booth B052, Nanning

out 30, 2026

See you in Nanning. The 14th China-ASEAN Mining Cooperation Forum kicks off November 6–8 at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center. We’re taking booth B052. MONSHTECH — the bulk-handling brand we run under QBF rubber — will have our core conveyor lineup on the stand. Why this forum, why now. Southeast Asian miners keep coming back to Nanning because it’s the one event where Chinese conveyor builders, EPC houses and the operators themselves end up in the same room. So we’re not flying out just for banners. We want to talk through actual projects. What we usually end up fixing on site. Walk onto a mine and the same three problems show up. Routes that snake across hills and ravines — trucking that ore gets expensive fast, and one rainy season wrecks the budget. Vertical lifts. Open-pit benches and underground shafts don’t play nice with a flat belt; you need something that holds material on a 40–60° incline. And dust. Coarse, abrasive rock leaking at every transfer point — environmental teams aren’t forgiving about that anymore. Our product line answers those three directly. Ropetrackand overland conveyors take the load off trucks across broken ground. Sidewallconveyor belts, sandwich belts and internal pocket belts handle the lift. Pipe conveyors and continuous ship loaders close the loop from concentrator to port, with far less spillage. What’s on the stand at B052. ROPE-TRACK sidewall conveyor belt. Pipe conveyor belt. Open-pit and underground steep-angle belts. Underground internal bucket lift. Concentrator steep-angle belts. Sandwich belts. Continuous ship-loader sidewall units. Stackers and reclaimers for mine and port yards. We scope single machines, system integration, and full EPC. Front-end survey up front, then supply, install, commission — and we don’t disappear after handover. Maintenance and upgrades are part of the deal.   If you’ve got a layout on your laptop, a site brief on your phone, or just a rough tonnage and a lift number — come find us. The engineers on stand will run through it with you: tonnage, material size, lift angle, route profile, power budget. Most of the mines we chat with leave with a haulage option that costs less than the truck-plus-standard-belt default they walked in with. Tunnel Shield Project | QBF rubber Anti-stick Sidewall Conveyor Belt Installation Service Delivered

out 20, 2026

Recently, the engineering service team from QBF rubber was dispatched to a tunnel project site and successfully completed on-site installation guidance for the sidewall conveyor belt. Supported by one-stop full-process technical services, the project’s conveying equipment achieved stable commissioning and high-efficiency operation. Tunnel construction presents tough site conditions, featuring steep conveying angles and considerable risks of material back-sliding and spillage. Breaking away from the traditional product-only supply model, QBF rubber provides a full-chain custom service package for this project. The service scope includes preliminary site survey, working-condition analysis, custom belt selection and design, bespoke belt manufacturing, on-site hot-splicing joint execution and full-cycle installation technical guidance. This complete set of services fully meets the operational demands of steep-angle material handling for tunnel construction. Shield tunnel jobs have tight working spaces, limited on-site manoeuvring, high muck volumes and wet excavated spoil. These conditions commonly cause spoil and fines to stick and pile up on conveyor belts. For this project, QBF rubber Anti-stick Sidewall Conveyor Belt was selected to tackle such field-proven issues. The belt’s special surface treatment resists sticking and enables good self-cleaning capability. It keeps damp tunnel muck and fine sand from clinging to the belt surface, helping avoid common problems triggered by material build-up: belt mis-tracking, slippage, faster-than-normal wear and reduced conveying capacity. Built with heavy-duty sidewalls and cleats, the belt is robust in structure, offers high tensile properties and holds up well against abrasion. It runs reliably for both vertical and steep inclined conveying work, cutting down significantly on material fallback, spillage and leakage. This brings tangible savings in on-site cleaning work and lowers the frequency of equipment maintenance. Having expanded from standalone product supply to end-to-end technical services, QBF rubber keeps addressing practical tunnel conveying challenges through professional, custom-built solutions. Moving ahead, QBF rubber will keep focusing on shield-tunnel muck transport and steep-angle material handling applications. Continuous upgrades to product performance and service frameworks will deliver reliable support for the efficient, eco-friendly and safe running of more engineering projects.
