Zhanjiang, China – QBF rubber has successfully completed the on-site installation and commissioning of its electric furnace grade sidewall conveyor belt for the Baowu Zhanjiang Steel project — one of China’s most advanced steel manufacturing bases.
The Challenge
Electric furnace applications involve continuous exposure to high-temperature slag, heavy impact from eccentric feeding, and steep-angle conveying up to 90°. Under these conditions, standard conveyor belts often suffer from carcass softening, cover plate hardening, and cleat detachment.
